Terrica Carrington is a Practitioner in Residence at C-IP2 and Senior Counsel & Director, Law, Policy & International at the Motion Picture Association (MPA). In her dual legal and policy role at MPA, she focuses on copyright and other IP policy issues in support of the film and television industries. Prior to joining MPA, Terrica was VP, Legal Policy and Copyright Counsel at the Copyright Alliance, where she worked on a number of legal and policy issues, including the Copyright Alternative in Small-Claims Enforcement Act (CASE Act), U.S. Copyright Office modernization, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and other copyright-related matters.
 
Terrica is also an adjunct professor, assisting as a Supervising Attorney with the Mason Arts & Entertainment Advocacy Clinic. In addition, she is an active member of the Copyright Society, serving on its Board of Trustees as well as its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Terrica earned her J.D. with a concentration in intellectual property law from George Mason University School of Law, and her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
